I'm also available to do fundraising events for hospices.

The typical format involves a hospice holding a fundraising dinner where a "nationally known" hospice speaker/author will present. The hospice will either have the meal itself be the fundraising event (having something like a $50 or $100 a plate catered meal) or have pledge cards distributed at the dinner. Or sometimes even both. - I also am willing to sell my books at the event: 25% of the proceeds going to the hospice.

The fundraising dinner is sometimes paired up with a staff/community education seminar during the day, the seminar having an attendance fee.

Also, on occasion, I have accompanied the hospice executive director or development director to make individual calls on potential large donors.
